Multinational gambling company, International Game Technology PLC (IGT) (NYSE: IGT), recently announced that its innovative sports betting platform technology, PlaySports, now powers the retail sports betting offering at The Mill Casino Hotel & RV Park in the city of North Bend in the U.S. coastal state of Oregon.
IGT platforms provide sports betting solutions in Europe, Latin America, and Asia, including customers such as LNB (Belgium), OPAP (Greece), and Lottomatica (Italy) and in 2018, processed more than $12 billion in sports wagers, according to the company.
Enhance operations:
The commercial deal with the London-headquartered producer of slot machines and other gambling technology has enabled the Coquille Indian Tribe-owned casino to leverage the technology and offer a range of sports wagers both over the counter and via its IGT PlaySports kiosks.

IGT introduced its PlaySports betting solution in nine US states in September and looks to roll out the platform in Arkansas and Illinois as well. The UK-based company worked to ensure that it was ready to deploy the technology as soon as PASPA was repealed in May 2018 and has made quick work of growing its footprint in the US market since then.
